Jenny

It's time for a history lesson! On this day, March 19, 1916, the United States used airplanes in a combat role for the first time. 8 Curtiss JN-3 "Jenny" airplanes with the 1st Aero Squadron accompanied Gen. Pershing on his expedition into Mexico to locate and capture the rebel leader Pancho Villa. The results were less than impressive, but the planes are now considered classics.
