I know it’s not Thanksgiving yet
And some say it’s too soon
But we put up our Christmas tree
Just this afternoon
We did it cause I love to look
At all the pretty lights
It makes the days more cheerful now
And brightens up the nights
It’s full of lovely ornaments
And with a star it’s crowned
And so I think I’ll leave it up
Til Easter rolls around
